Paul Feeney - Founder and Chief Mapper
Paul is an Australian who is passionate about changing the way people access independent financial advice. After 10+ years as a private banker and financial planner he is now approaching financial advice with fresh set of eyes with the aim of making it available to everyone, at the same time, cutting the link between advice and product sales.
Paul loves traveling and has lived and worked in lots of awesome places around the world (Kenya, Malaysia, Singapore, UK and of course Australia), in his spare time, he's built three companies from scratch.
Adelina Lalic - National Relationship Manager
With over 20 years of financial services industry experience, Adelina shares the same passion as the rest of the Map My Plan team and believes that all Australians should have access to financial advice to help them on their way to being financially fit.
Adelina has extensive practice management, business coaching and consulting skills. Her interpersonal skills and her ability to build relationships with a range of people makes her the ideal person responsible for managing relationships with new and existing Map My Plan corporate clients.
Bernie Ripoll - Director
Bernie has been the Federal Member of Parliament for the seat of Oxley for from 1998 to 2016. Bernie was the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer. While in opposition Bernie was the Shadow Minister for Financial Services and also chaired the enquiry that lead to the development of the FoFA legislation (the Ripoll report).
Bernie is a Director of Map My Plan and engaged in selling to key market segments and promoting Map My Plan.
Nathan Isterling - IT Strategy
Nathan has extensive experience in developing and taking to market internet startups. Nathan founded footytips.com.au and has worked as the Head of Digital for ESPN, Ad Sales Director, Software Engineer for EDS, in eCommerce security for ANZ and as a Producer for DT Design.
Nathan's role has typically been business modelling, internet media strategy, ad sales and engineering internet technology.
Rubens Peculis - Technical Director
Rubens has worked with several corporates and government departments in roles such as Head of Technology of DDB Sydney and Lead Developer at Destination NSW. He's the full stack (front and back, speaking several programming languages).
Guru Mulay - Software Engineer
Guru's a programming multilinguist who's especially good with applications, systems and business analysis. He's worked predominantly as a full stack developer for corporates such as Newtons Nerds and on community projects with Monash University.
Simon Micallef - Advisory Board & National Strategic Distribution
Simon has 25 years’ experience in the financial planning and financial services industry holding senior executive positions across five financial service institutions incorporating sales, business strategy, operations, marketing, wealth distribution, governance and executive management. Throughout this time Simon has worked with numerous financial planning businesses and financial services representatives who have helped Australian’s with their personal financial needs. He is an advocate of providing Australian’s with affordable and sensible advice to help them start their own financial journey.
Simon’s role focuses on the strategic growth of Map My Plan through national corporate accounts, a participant on the Board of Advice and consultant and Responsible Manager for the Australian Financial Service License which Map My Plan operates.
Philippa Billings - Chief Navigator
Philippa has over 25 years experience in financial services and has specialised in providing investment research, technical advice and strategy support to financial planners and accountants. Philippa writes the advice and information, builds models and calculation tools, and keeps the site interesting.
